The past week has seen protesting again in Brantford as part of the ongoing land claims dispute. The people are standing in defiance of the injunctions that were passed down last month.
Some background to this situation can be found on this thread.

There's many news articles about whats been going on this past week, I haven't been through them all to pull the most informative ones so here's a link to the google search which captures most of them.

The biggest difference between these and the previous protests is that many of the Chiefs are no w directly involved. Last Monday's protest actually saw several Chiefs including Alan MacNaughton who is one of the lead negotiators actually leading it.

This am a small group went to the Kingspan site to block the trucks from entering.
One man has been arrested. Arrest in Brantford

The info I have gotten is that currently about a dozen people are hemmed in at the site by the police with more apparently moving in. They've been told they will be taking everyone. The group also includes women and children. People are also massing on the other side of the police lines.

Will post more when I find out. As this is currently happening as I'm writing this info may be sketchy as it comes in.

edited to add: Alright as with the nature of these things it seems different perspectives come in. Apparently the police say they are hemming and not moving in. As I am not there to see it with my own eyes, I don't know for sure whether that's because they're now backing off or it's just misinformation going to the public.

Point being though that it's what the call a 'situation' and it's really tense.

Things have deescalated somewhat. At one point the Brantford police had the entire area/roads blocked off and not allowing people to come and go. Hence the protesters being hemmed in from their perspective and from the police perspective just protest/crowd control. Riot cops were seen suiting up and a command post brought it they are now dispersing and pulling back.
The police are opening things up to allow people to come and go.
There were 'talks', the head cop said he does not want a confrontation.

Word came to all parties involved, from the Eastern Door that they were prepared to do solidarity protests in response.
