The poets will be reading at the My Dog Joe Coffeehouse in Hamilton,
Ontario. The event was organized by Bryan Prince Bookseller, which is
located just down the street from My Dog Joe in Hamilton's Westdale
neighbourhood. Viewers of the live event will be able to chat with
each other and submit questions and requests to the poets. No special
software is required to watch the live broadcast. Viewers just need to
visit the rabble.ca homepage (http://rabble.ca) to watch the show.

rabbletv is a new venture for rabble.ca, which has been using emerging
online technology to bring alternative media and discussion to
Canadians since 2001.

About the poets
Adam Getty was born in Toronto and currently lives in Hamilton,
Ontario. He has had his poetry published in journals in both the USA
and Canada. His first full length book, "Reconciliation," won the
Gerald Lampert Memorial Award for best first book of poetry and was
shortlisted for the 2003 Trillium Award.

Alison Pick won the top CBC Literary Award for poetry. She's the
author of the novel "The Sweet Edge," a Globe and Mail Top 100 Book of
2005. The title section of her poetry collection, Question & Answer,
won the 2002 Bronwen Wallace Award for most promising writer under 35,
and the 2003 National Magazine Award for Poetry.
