Can someone please tell by what is meant by the "working class"?Is this term based on a tax bracket system? Or is it an ideology term?

And then we have the buzz-word of McGuinty Liberals in Ontario and Stephen Harper, and - often - Paul Martin:"Ordinary Working Canadians" I guess anyone NOT working by default is EXTRA-ordinary? I really hate how this cliche babble-buzz-bullsh*t is not being challenged. I wish someone would stop these bozos and ask if they really mean to exclude the disabled, the unemployed, retired seniors, students, etc.
