Depending on how the war progresses, Moby Dick may well be the aptest allegory for the present situation. Although it's a bit unflattering to Ahab to compare him to that micranthropic George Bush.

Time, perhaps, for a reread.

Now, who is Ishmael? Who Queequeg? And who the mysterious Persian fellow (don't remember his name)?
