When I lived in Ottawa, I visited all the art and civilization museums regularly. Nowadays, living on the eastern end of Quebec, I only get back to Ottawa once every few years, sadly.

If anyone is in Ottawa next week, you may wish
to check out these links to a great museum:

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Since its modest beginnings within the Geological Survey of Canada, the Canadian Museum of Civilization has expanded considerably. Its role now is to tell the stories of human history and identity in Canada. This exhibition invites you to discover key events in the Museum’s history, and to celebrate its major contributions.

OPEN HOUSE
On Sunday, May 14, the Canadian Museum of Civilization will kick off its 150th Anniversary with an Open House. Throughout the day, admission will be free and there will be activities for the entire family.
