Known about you for a long while now. Glad to have made it after all this time.
Look forward to participating in as much of the Babble as life and time will allow.
Happy election outcomes for all who are on the left side of things. For those on the right..well...we'll be chattin'.

Jullrah, I didn't respond because I felt I was too new to be issuing a welcome. I've changed my mind, though, so "Welcome to babble!"

Thanks for that group welcome, Michelle.

But could you post a few words in my thread so that I don't look like such a loser?

Ex. "Welcome to Babble, Qatz."

It would make such a difference, and takes so little effort...

It's just proper form, M. Spector.

If new members don't get at least a few "welcome to"s from the older members, the entire site looks really closed and unfriendly.

"We don't need your kind" is the message that is sent out.

This ought to be common knowledge. But perhaps the alienation of liberal democracy has ruined yet another basic human social skill.
