Jokes aside, I think I'm willing to see this tried, although the concluding line from the Cambridge researcher probably makes sense at this point: quote: If you put cells from one species into the egg of another, the egg may divide, but you could get a lot of genetic abnormality that won't lead to good quality stem cells."
People should know that these embryos would not survive - wouldn't be allowed to and wouldn't be able to, both, beyond a very short time. My one concern is the puir wee rabbits they are going to harvest from. I hope they don't start looking for live ones - there is a lot of road-kill available in Scotland, more's the pity.
