A sentence in the article: quote: Since the fuel from every gas station is different from the next, the MPG performance will also vary.
Did the writer not know that fuel comes from refineries, and there are only a few refineries delivering gasoline to hundreds, if not thousands of stations. In other words, the gasoline from station to station in any given area is exactly the same cause it's all coming from the same refinery. Then there is the contention that fuel is not burning completely, which the whole article is based on. Yet the writer doesn't show anywhere any research as to exactly how much fuel is being exhausted unburnt. That measurement is a relatively easy one to take, and in fact when you take your vehicle for a tuneup, they do precisely that. So it would be a simple thing to test and determine how much fuel is unburnt, and how much less is unburnt when using acetone as an additive. Personally, I don't think the writer of this article has enough knowledge of the subject to be able to make the claims that are made.
