This is a non-issue for the Canadian Government to get involved in; the previous Conservative Gov. privatized petro-can; and the deal with Gazprom was in the works in 2004 and that is when the Government sold it's last remainig shares ( 19% ) With the privatization of petro-can the federal government lost VAST amounts of revenue, this in turn could assist in making our Medicare;Hospitals;all forms of academic instruction; daycare; too many to mention with the privatization of more and more crown corporations the Federal Governments in the future will be forced to raise taxes; there were two members bills last year to sell remaining shares in VIA and the scariest one is to turn over all the ATOMIC ENERGY'S SHARES over to the Minister of Industry ; privatization to follow in this Gov.
