It would be great if everyone could come out and join these seniors and others in this small group who brave the cold every Friday at 5:30 pm to shut this airport down:

Not going to happen until the government approves the rail link to Pearson. Unfortunately people along the Weston corridor are against it so the TIA will stay where it is.

That's interesting, leftyboy. I haven't really been following the rail-to-Pearson issue that closely, and so I don't know much about the local opposition to the plan.

Have you got any links on that? I'd be interested in reading more on it and getting up on the local issues involved.

Unfortunately I don't think a streetcar is a sustainable transit solution to the airport. The city has to bite the bullet on one of these projects, embrace one or the other but the status quo is unacceptable.
