sorry if i'm stepping on your toes, majorvictory.
CBC reports that a series of five suicide bombings in Bagdhad Monday morning have killed 37 people, 25 of them Iraqi. The targetted areas were four police stations and the int'l Red Cross HQ. All of the bombings took place within one hour.
BBC reports that there would have been a sixth bombing at another police station, but officers managed to prevent it. A police sergeant said that the would-be suicide bomber was shouting "Death to the Iraqi police! You're collaborators!"
On top of that - there were more US casualty reports for Sunday. Three dead and four wounded in two other attacks.
This is all within 24 hours of the rocket attack that killed a US colonel and endangered Wolfowitz.
Okay. Is it reasonable to say the situation is getting out of control? That the Bush admin misjudged the level of resistance?
*Edited to add*
CBC changed the report on me and now say "around 30 people" have been killed. well, that's a relief.
