Times Literary Supplement after October 14 in the archives

Search for David Finkelstein's piece called "Cold Type". It is a book review of this three volume set on the publishing industry in Canada. It suggests that our inherent tolerance for other cultures was in part created by the difficulties we have had in obtaining outlets for Canadian culture in a world dominated by the Yanks and the Brits.

There are even references to such archane publications as "An International Treasury of Leftwing Humour" and " Porky, Rorky Goes Co-op".

The article will be on-line one month after the September 14th issue. These tomes are massive and worth $200.00 Canadian for the set. I am impulsed to buy one...

Here is an available review:

Donny, you don't make it simple, do you?

First of all, I fixed your two links:

Times Literary Supplement after October 14 in the archives

History of the Book in Canada

However, I still have no clue how to locate "Cold Type" in your first link. How about being a little more helpful??

ETA: Ok, I apologize Donny, on re-reading your post I realize that it's not online till next month. Stupid me . However, if I'm reading it right, it will still only be available to paid subscribers at that time? Other than maybe a free trial?
