Hindsight is 20/20, but I think Joe Leiberman should have been the guy running. Not Howard Dean or Wesley Clark.
Boring as Joe is, he may have even won, being more of a moderate candidate, and not a Massachusetts Liberal, as Kerry was defined, fairly or not.

What does it matter? Take your focus off what could have been and participate in the dialogue of who should lead the Democrats in 2008 when there will not be an incumbant running. And also spend some time thinking about how the policies of the Democratic party could be made to be more relevant to the American people, so that they would want to vote for them.
