Well this is a step forward, this time they killed more militants than civilians. These days, one has to take ones silver linings where one can find them.

Unfortunately, that may not be true, Cueball. The reports I'm seeing on CNN suggest that there was perhaps only one militant in the car along with his family. Of course, it's all yet to be confirmed, and we know that the IDF's first PR statements are often very misleading.

The incident brings to 5,004 the number of people killed since the Palestinian intifada began in September 2000, according to an AFP count. The vast majority of the dead are Palestinians.

The truth about the numbers is begining to leak into the MSM.

Six killed in Gaza strike

As long as the Israeli Homicide Force is a lucrative and valued customer of US arms manufacturers, no time soon.

Turns out it was a campaign and some of these stories are different:

IDF crackdown in Gaza Strip leaves 14 dead

quote:
Nabil Abu Rdeneh, a Palestinian Authority spokesman, said the air strikes were a "new escalation" and that the Palestinians would appeal to the U.N. Security Council to pass a resolution against the Israeli attacks.
