quote:
In either case, Palestinians will continue to act on the sadly sound assumption that even if they consolidated their security services and dismantled the "terrorist infrastructure" - something they should have done long ago - no government headed by Sharon or any other rightist Israeli leader will enter a peace negotiation with them, nor will it allow the emergence of a Palestinian state that is anything more than a collection of isolated bantustans under Israel's complete control.

Spelling out Sharon's real plan

Henry Seigman has written some useful stuff. Google in his name with "New York Review of books."

Also, check out the CBC's documentary, online, (google in CBC Sunday news and viable state, camp david), which interviewed him. Incidentally, the CBC's documentary was the first time maps of Camp David were aired on TV. The guy who made the documentary told me that Noam Chomsky had insisted, untill the last, that it wouldnt be aired. Now the guy who made it, Dave Ridgen, really a wonderful man, is making a documentary about Norman Finkelstein.
