Deadliest day in Gaza in 2 years claims 31 lives

quote:
JEBALIYA REFUGEE CAMP, Gaza Strip - Israeli troops struck deep inside the largest Palestinian refugee camp Thursday, battling masked gunmen in an unprecedented campaign to stop deadly rocket fire on Israeli towns. Twenty-eight Palestinians were killed and 131 wounded, the bloodiest single-day toll in fighting in 30 months.

I fear that there will never be peace between the Israelis and Palestinians. This is a fight to the end for both groups. The Israelis use overwhelming military force, while the Palestinians use guerilla tactics and population growth. Attrition is the strategy for both sides. How can people who live so close to each other and so hate each other ever live peacefully together. They can't.

Those nefarious Palestinians with their nefarious birthing of children. When will it end?

Sinistral, I would really appreciate it if you didn't refer to the "population growth" of the Palestinians as a tactic that is lumped in with hostile means of fighting.

Maybe you really don't see how some of your posts on this board are offensive against Muslim or Arab people, but you're really going to have to try to think before you post, or your posting privileges will be withdrawn.
