That is so bizarre. I will never understand how thinking people can assume that sterilization is a morally right thing to do. I mean, for heaven's sake, we had laws like that in Canada in the 1930s and 1940s, and many otherwise intelligent people said it was perfectly fine, instead of asking the obvious question: "Is it the right thing to do?"
