The American Druze Society

Institute of Druze Studies

Druze Faith home page, with lots of links and an interesting musical selection

Israel Druze Society

Interesting. I've heard of Druze before, but never known anything about them.

Wow...the only thing that comes to mind is the phrase "Druze Militiamen" in news from Lebanon in the 80s...(never "Druze pastry chefs" or "Druze dating services")....never even knew they were a religious/ethnic group.

I gotta get out more....

Obviously there is more to the religion then Walid Jumblatt pontificating about revolutionary socialism.

The Druze seem like a cross between the Amish and the Hindus. I wonder how those strict rules about Marrying outside the faith affect their gene pool. It would be interesting to find out how many Druze children have mental challenges.
