Ah, more good vibes from the enemy camp.

I would love to believe that we could force the Liberals into a minority position (and from there demand some form of Proportional Rep). I would love to believe that the re-alignment of Canadian politics could result in us becoming the Official Opposition and the natural alternative to the Liberals.

Just don't see it happening.

Don't get me wrong. I think Jack has been great and has generated more excitement and momentum for us on the national scene than we've seen for some time but it is very hard for the pendulum to swing that far, that quickly.

Returning to the third party in the House - doable. Getting back to 20-30 seats - tough, but doable. More than that, right now, is asking an awful lot.

I am particularly concerned that Martin's left-flank manouvering will be revealed just before the election in the form of Ujal Dosanj and Mesrs. Murray and Axworthy in Winnipeg. I know that such stories always circulate just around election time but just because they are familiar doesn't make them untrue.

Beware Greeks bearing gifts and of late we have received a few.
