Military Disconnects Soldiers' Weblog

"The Canadian Military says an Edmonton-based soldier's weblog gave away too much tactical information about the mission in Afghanistan."

Does anyone know about this?

Re. tactical information, last week CBC's Patrick Brown reported something like he and the troops were 60 km north west of Kandahar and were preparing for engagements.

I thought that was as much information as Geraldo disclosed I'm guessing the context was quite different. (I like Brown as a reporter)

There are no specific regulations that preclude the posting of blogs. The normal rules governing OPSEC apply of course.
