I was wondering what you thought the NDP stance on the softwood lumber dispute should be.

Do you feel that, since the forestry industry is not sustainable and treats forests like tree farms, the NDP should not care too much?

Or should the NDP support targeted lobbying in the US, suggesting that rising housing costs could be lowered by their acceptance of the agreement they signed?

Or wait until the WTO rules in Canada's favour, and then impose import and export tariffs, while building local manufacturing industries that make shipping raw logs to the US a moot point?

Hi, treecutter.

Could you take that long URL and run it through tinyurl.com, so as to prevent sidescroll?

Thanks.
