Two Canadian members of a multinational force were wounded in an explosion near the unit's base in northeast Sinai.

That's a shame -- I'm glad they are not seriously hurt.

Is it possible that the explosion was some sort of accident? I shouldn't have thought that the MFO was anyone's particular target.

I wish it was an accident. The only thing we can be thankful for is that the two soldiers involved are alive. I wonder if the ones that planted the bomb understand that the MFO is as much about keeping Isreal out of Egypt as Egypt out of Isreal.
