An extensive investigation by Christian Science Monitor, who, along with the Daily Telegraph broke the story about British Labour MP George Galloway's alleged ties to the Iraqi government of Saddam Hussein has shown that the documents the Monitor relied upon for this story were forgeries. At this point it looks like the Telegraph's documents are, unlike the Monitor's, textually okay, but it doesn't seem as if the chemical tests the Monitor did on its papers have been done on the Telegraph's. Obviously there's more to this story than there first appeared to be.

No doubt the "evidence" against Galloway was on the same stationery as the "evidence" about Iraqi weapons programs, purchases of Uranium, etc. etc.

Already some discussion over in this thread.
