A creepy organization kidnapped...(Cueball).

Well I do live relativley close to him, but we don't get a long, so they can keep him! Okay, okay that's mean...other lower mainland babblers, let's mount a rescue.

Concordia Elections (kingblake).

So they've elected a dictatorship? Well that's good practice for "real" elections. Oh well at least we get a babbler ruiling a university. Maybe he can get me in, with free tuition. Hmm? A patronage appointment onto some cushy committee or something hmm?

And the verdict on Justice...(Snuckles).

I think I'd have difficulty taking that Judge seriously.

"Terrorists" go...(Cueball).

Uh oh now everyone whose bald will be accused of being a terrorist! We'll at least they'll be easier to identify.

ok ok..i confess, i've never taken latin in my life. i took spanish instead.... although, the few roots i do know i did learn from biology and sort of from spanish.

no, traitor's not the word i wanted. i wanted false. i know veritas= true/truth b/c in spanish it's "la verdad." if only i could remember the word for false....

would it be "reproba" or "subjectio"?

Gir, this is your faithful treasurer speaking.

And Gir, I have to tell you: you are in ARREARS.

But... my records show my cheque has been cashed!

I demand an audit of BWAGA finances!

Gir, this is your faithful treasurer speaking.

Now, ok, you are semi-right. You paid for one year, but you calculated your payment according to the special three-year premium rate.

(Actually, that's not our full premium rate: full premium is the ten-year rate, but we so far have only one member opting for that level of commitment -- gotta love Hinterland, eh?)

But anyway, Gir: are you willing to commit for three years? If so, you owe quite a bit more; if not, please remit $0.35 by return. Ta very much.

*I* have sexual morals? Is that, like, a disease or smething?

I was a secretly non-conforming student m'self, 'lance. You know me: wimp.

So they were surprised when I exploded all over the place.

[Edited to clarify that I meant that I am the wimp, not 'lance, who is not a wimp.]

Yes, but in all honesty, that's a technicality. They simply kicked me out because I didn't go to the meetings.

And why didn't I go to the meetings? Afraid to be seen going to the meetings. That's right: too wimpy.

Instead of kicking me out, they should have promoted me to Head Wimp.

Edited to add that skdadl is decidedly not a wimp. Mistakenly invited to an early meeting (wasn't me, wasn't me!), she marched into the hall, head held high, and gave us all a proper dressing-down as -- yes -- a bunch of wimps. She wasn't afraid to be seen there.
