How come there are so few globalization jokes? I punch in "globalization jokes" on the google.com search engine and get from two sites one lame jokes about the death of princess Diana. I was never a fan of Diana.

How many WTO negotiators does it take to change a light bulb?

With true free trade, none. The market will take care of it.

'lance replies with a light bulb joke, and no one needs to change it, the market will take care of things. Sounds like a joke of Adam Smith's invisible hand, which is to some like Stockwell Day, divine intervention.
Or maybe the joke sounds like the nanny state all over again.

How many corporations does it take to change a light bulb?

Well, changing a light bulb does not fall within our core competency. As such the task should be contracted to a bulb replacement contractor. A new company should be established for the purpose of tendering contractors in order to maintain an arms length relationship between the parent corporation, the subsidiary, and the contractor.

The contractor will likely sub-contract the job to a light bulb specialist who will then assign a employee, contracted through an employment agency to avoid benefit payments, to remain on-site at the parent corporation headquaters to monitor and change the bulb as required.

As well, we will contract the public relations firm of Wattage, Ohms and Amperes to lobby the governement and opposition party to reduce the high level of taxes accrued as a result of light bulb purchases.
