I attended a workshop at Ottawa U a couple of weeks ago entitled "Superb Writing Simplified". Basically, I paid $200 to get an 8 hour version of this Orwell essay. Oh well...

And so...?

I could do about 200 pages on this - edited down to a one-page rant, if pressed. But nothing ever happens; in fact, nobody even gets to the bottom of the one page.
Language sucks. Politics suck.
Slate-coloured juncos are very nice.
